ENRICH Developmental Playgroup

We are thrilled to announce our ENRICH Developmental Playgroup!

How is ENRICH Development Playgroup different from a regular preschool?

We will be using the principles of ABA in a child-led environment focusing on some of those skills that are just a little more difficult for some of our friends. The curriculum we are using is evidence-based, so it’s proven to be effective time and again in teaching those skills.

Our fully comprehensive program blending Mission Cognition and Preschool Life Skills is designed to target valuable and important social skills and also offer individualization to meet the needs of each of our clients.

Using the play-based literacy curriculum from Mission Cognition, each week will have one story that we focus on. And we’ll pull out social elements from that story. Not only is it reading but we will have activities for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math, focusing on art and math), music and movement, and emotional regulation in really fun ways.

“Before I started in ABA, I was a pre-kindergarten teacher. So I am thrilled to be combining my background in education with my experiences as a behavior analyst to really enrich the lives of the clients that are a part of our playgroup.

“Preschoolers are so curious and full of life and eager to learn and grow. It’s going to be a really fun time of watching the kids make such progress over the 15 weeks.” – Beth Chaney, ENRICH Director

We can’t wait to welcome 8 friends to our pilot program! We will be meeting Monday thru Friday, 8:30 – 12:30 at our clinic at 333 W Butler St in Lexington.
